Start with Good Quality Chocolate Coatings
Don't Skimp on This Part
The key ingredient: chocolate coatings.
The chocolate is the star of the show, so please select wisely. Use the best quality candy making chocolate coatings
Candy coatings are small disk-shaped chocolates specially formulated to melt easily and evenly at low temperatures. This is not to be confused with regular chocolate which contains chocolate liquor and cocoa butter.
The best chocolate coatings contain cocoa powder and vegetable oil which gives it a creamy chocolate flavor, but also makes it easy to melt and manipulate.
Some chocolate coatings do not contain cocoa powder and have a bit of a waxy feel and taste. Most candy or cake making stores carry quality chocolate candy coatings. You can also purchase these online.
Ingredients
Can't get much easier that this:
1 pound chocolate coatings (dark or light)
1 pound white chocolate coatings
1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1. Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl melt 1 pound (3 cups) dark or light chocolate candy coatings. 1 1/2 minutes - 2 1/2 minutes depending on your microwave power.
Do check your candy every 30 seconds and stir while melting to be sure you don't over cook. If after stirring you have only a few lumps left, set on counter and continue to stir; the heat of the chocolate will melt the remaining lumps.
2. Pour Chocolate into Pan
(I like to cover the pan with foil or parchment paper for easy removal. This step is not mandatory; it's just a step I've added to make the process neater.)
Pour half of the chocolate into pan, smooth with spatula. This does not have to cover perfectly, a few open spaces is fine.
Knock pan on the counter to smooth out chocolate layer.
3. Melt White Chocolate
Melt 1 pound (3 cups) white chocolate in microwave safe bowl. Microwave 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 minutes - depending on your microwave.
Check chocolate every 30 seconds to be sure you don't over cook it.
(Make sure you make a note of the amount of time it takes to melt the chocolate so you'll know for the future.)
While chocolate is in microwave, measure peanut butter.
4. Add Peanut Butter
Mix 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter into the melted white chocolate. Stir completely.
Pour peanut butter mixture over the layer of milk or dark chocolate.
Knock pan on the counter to flatten out the chocolate.
5. Drizzle on the Chocolate
If your milk or dark chocolate has hardened, stick it back in the microwave for a short burst to remelt.
Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture in a zig zag fashion.
6. Marbleize
Pull a butter knife through the pan - about 6 lines across the long way.
Next pull knife through the pan going across the short side as in the photo.
Lastly, pull knife through one more time the long way.
7. Done
Let your pan cool for a few hours. If you're in a hurry, just cover and stick in the freezer for 10 minutes or refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Once your Tiger Butter is hard, it's time to cut it.
Take a knife and run it around the edges of your pan. Flip the pan upside down and the whole sheet will dislodge. Flip the Tiger Butter (marbleized side up) onto a large cutting board.
Cut to desired size.

Make sure the chocolate candy coatings you pick have real cocoa in the ingredients. You can find quality candy coatings in a candy or cake making store or on line. Here's the brand I've used for 20 years - Merckens.
